Oráculo concernente a Moabe

Certamente, de noite, Ar-Moabe é devastada, é aniquilada; certamente, de noite, *Jr 48.41Quir-Moabe é devastada, é aniquilada. 2 *Jr 48.18,22Dibom sobe ao templo, aos altos, para chorar; no cume de Nebo e de Medeba, pranteia Moabe. Em todas as suas cabeças, há *Lv 21.5;Jr 48.37calva, e toda barba, é rapada. 3 Nas suas ruas cingem-se de *Jn 3.6-8saco; *Jr 48.38sobre os seus telhados e nas suas praças, todos pranteiam, desatando-se *Is 22.4em lágrimas. 4 Grita *Nm 21.28,30;Jr 48.34Hesbom, bem como Eleale; a sua voz ouve-se até Jaaz. Por isso, os armados de Moabe gritam em alta voz; estremece-lhe a alma. 5 O meu coração geme sobre Moabe, cujos fugitivos vão até *Jr 48.34Zoar, novilha de três anos; pois vão subindo com choro *Jr 48.5pela encosta de Luíte, porque no caminho de Horonaim levantam um grito *Is 59.7;Jr 4.20de destruição. 6 *Is 19.5-7;Jr 48.34As águas de Ninrim tornam-se desoladas, porquanto já se secou a relva, se foi a erva verde, e *Jl 1.10-12;2.3não há verdura alguma. 7 Portanto, a *Is 30.6;Jr 48.36abundância que têm adquirido, e o que têm guardado, levam-nos para além das torrentes dos salgueiros. 8 O grito de pranto já se fez ouvir em torno dos confins de Moabe; chegou até Eglaim o seu pranto, e até Beer-Elim, o seu pranto. 9 As águas de Dimom estão cheias de sangue; porque ainda trarei mais sobre Dimom: um *2Rs 17.25;Jr 50.17leão sobre aquele que escapa de Moabe e sobre o que resta da terra.
