1 Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble:

He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

2 Jehovah is great in Zion;

And he is high above all the peoples.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name:

Holy is he.

4 The king’s strength also loveth justice;

Thou dost establish equity;

Thou executest justice and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his footstool:

Holy is he.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests,

And Samuel among them that call upon his name;

They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

7 He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud:

They kept his testimonies,

And the statute that he gave them.

8 Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God:

Thou wast a God that forgavest them,

Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his holy hill;

For Jehovah our God is holy.

1 Domnul împărăţeşte: popoarele tremură; El şade pe heruvimi: pămîntul se clatină.2 Domnul este mare în Sion, şi înalţat peste toate popoarele.3 Să laude oamenii Numele Tău cel mare şi înfricoşat, căci este sfînt!4 Să laude oamenii tăria Împăratului, căci iubeşte dreptatea! Tu întăreşti dreptatea, Tu faci dreptate şi judecată în Iacov.5 Înălţaţi pe Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, şi închinaţi-vă înaintea aşternutului picioarelor Lui, căci este sfînt!6 Moise şi Aaron, dintre preoţii Lui, şi Samuel, dintre ceice chemau Numele Lui, au chemat pe Domnul, şi El i -a ascultat.7 El le -a vorbit din stîlpul de nor; ei au păzit poruncile Lui şi Legea, pe care le -a dat -o El.8 Doamne, Dumnezeul nostru, Tu i-ai ascultat; ai fost pentru ei un Dumnezeu iertător, dar i-ai pedepsit pentru greşelile lor.9 Înălţaţi pe Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, şi închinaţi-vă pe muntele Lui cel sfînt! Căci Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, este sfînt!
