2 Louvem-no todos os seus anjos! Louvem-no todos os seus exércitos celestiais!3 Louvem-no o Sol, a Lua! Louvem-no todas as brilhantes estrelas!4 Louvem-no o firmamento, assim como as atmosferas que estão acima da Terra!6 E tudo passou a existir para sempre, obedecendo a leis que nunca serão alteradas!8 O fogo e a saraiva, a neve e a bruma, as grandes ventanias que sopram segundo as suas ordens,9 as altas montanhas e os pequenos outeiros, as árvores, na sua variedade, até as de grande porte,10 os animais selvagens e os animais domésticos; os que rastejam e os que voam,11 todos os governantes da Terra, com todos os seus povos, chefes de estado, e responsáveis pelo exercício da justiça entre as populações;12 moços e moças, velhos e crianças;13 que todos louvem o poder do nome do Senhor. Pois só ele é digno de ser exaltado acima de tudo o que existe na Terra e nos céus!14 E também o seu povo, ele o torna grande e forte, objecto de honra de todos os que lhe são fiéis. Esse povo, que vive junto de si, o seu povo de Israel! Louvem o Senhor!

Praise{+} Yahweh from the heavens: Praise him in the heights.2 Praise{+} him, all his angels: Praise{+} him, all his host.3 Praise{+} him, sun and moon: Praise him, all you{+} stars of light.4 Praise him, you{+} heavens of heavens, And you{+} waters that are above the heavens.5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh; For he commanded, and they were created.6 He has also established them forever and ever: He has made a decree which will not pass away.7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, You{+} sea-monsters, and all deeps.8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;9 Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;10 Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying birds;11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;12 Both young men and virgins; Old men and children:13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.14 And he has lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him.
