2 O Senhor está, com toda a sua grandeza, em Sião, e todos o reconhecem como o que está acima das nações.3 Que toda a gente te louve pelo prestígio do teu nome, que é grande e santo.5 Que o Senhor nosso Deus seja altamente honrado. Quem se aproximar de ti, que se incline na tua presença, pois és santo!6 Quando Moisés e Arão, e também Samuel, clamavam por ti, gritando alto o teu nome, tu lhes respondias.7 Falavas-lhes desde aquela nuvem que ia à frente do povo. E o povo seguia as tuas instruções, os mandamentos que lhes tinhas dado.8 E da tua parte, Senhor nosso Deus, respondias às suas orações, e estavas sempre a perdoar-lhes as suas maldades, ainda que sejas um Deus castigador de tudo o que for pecado.

1 Yahweh reigns; let the peoples tremble: He sits [above] the cherubim; let the earth be moved.2 Yahweh is great in Zion; And he is high above all the peoples.3 Let them praise your great and awesome name: He is holy.4 The king's strength also loves justice; You establish equity; You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.5 Exalt{+} Yahweh our God, And worship at his footstool: He is holy.6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, And Samuel among those who call on his name; They called on Yahweh, and he answered them.7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, And the statute that he gave them.8 You answered them, O Yahweh our God: You were a God who forgave them, Though you took vengeance of their doings.9 Exalt{+} Yahweh our God, And worship at his holy hill; For Yahweh our God is holy.
