1 Ouve, ó Deus, o meu clamor! Atende à minha oração!2 Ainda que esteja no fim do mundo clamarei por ti, pois o meu coração está abatido. Leva-me para essa alta e poderosa rocha de salvação.3 Porque tens sido o meu refúgio, e como uma alta torre fortificada onde o adversário nunca me poderá alcançar.4 Morarei na tua santa habitação para sempre. Estarei seguro ao abrigo das tuas asas.5 Pois tu, ó Deus, deste atenção aos meus votos. Deste-me as bênçãos que reservas aos que temem o teu nome.7 E permanecerei diante de Deus para sempre. Envia a tua benevolência e a tua verdade para que guardem e vigiem a minha vida de rei.8 Assim cantarei salmos ao teu nome continuamente, cumprindo a minha solene promessa de te louvar todos os dias.
