2 Examina-me, Senhor,e vê que é assim mesmo, observa bem o meu íntimo, os meus sentimentos.3 Porque penso muito na tua bondade; a tua verdade é a lei da minha vida.4 Não tenho convívio com gente falsa nem com hipócritas.5 Detesto os ajuntamentos de malfeitores; não me chego aos que te desprezam.6 Lavo as mãos, em sinal da minha inocência,e também para poder prestar-te culto diante do teu altar;7 para poder cantar publicamente louvores,contando assim as tuas maravilhas.8 Senhor, eu amo a tua morada,esse lugar santo onde está o brilho da tua presença.11 Quanto a mim procuro andar com rectidão e pureza,e livra-me, tem piedade de mim.12 Os meus pés andam num caminho seguro. Louvarei o Senhor publicamente.

Judge me, O Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity: I have trusted also in Yahweh without wavering.2 Examine me, O Yahweh, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind.3 For your loving-kindness is before my eyes; And I have walked in your truth.4 I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.5 I hate the assembly of evildoers, And will not sit with the wicked.6 I will wash my hands in innocence: So I will go about your altar, O Yahweh;7 That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all your wondrous works.8 Yahweh, I love the habitation of your house, And the place where your glory dwells.9 Don't gather my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood;10 In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes.11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful to me.12 My foot stands in an even place: In the congregations I will bless Yahweh.
