Jeremias 27

Jeremias aconselha submissão ao rei de Babilônia

1 *Jr 26.1No princípio do reinado de Jeoaquim, filho de Josias, rei de Judá, veio da parte de Jeová esta palavra a Jeremias, dizendo: 2 Assim me diz a mim Jeová: Faze-te *Jr 30.8brochas e *Jr 28.10,13canzis e põe-nos ao teu pescoço. 3 Depois, envia-os ao rei do *Jr 25.21-22Edom, e ao rei de Moabe, e ao rei dos filhos de Amom, e ao rei do Tiro, e ao rei de Sidom, por mão dos mensageiros que são vindos a Jerusalém a ter *Jr 27.1com Zedequias, rei de Judá. 4 Ordena-lhes que digam aos seus amos: Assim diz Jeová dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel: Isso direis a vossos amos: 5 *Jr 10.12;51.15;Sl 146.5-6Eu, com o meu grande poder e com o *Jr 32.17;Dt 9.29meu braço estendido, fiz a terra, os homens e os animais que estão sobre a face da terra *Sl 115.15-16;At 17.26e a dou a quem me parecer bem. 6 Agora, *Jr 21.7;22.25;Ez 29.18-20eu entreguei todas estas terras nas mãos do *Jr 25.9;43.10;Is 44.28meu servo Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia; também lhe dei *Jr 28.14todos os animais, para que o sirvam. 7 *Jr 44.30;46.13Todas as nações servirão a ele, e a seu filho, e ao filho de seu filho, *Zc 2.8-9até que venha o tempo da sua terra; e então *Jr 25.12;Is 14.4-6muitas nações e grandes reis se servirão dele. 8 A nação e o reino que *Jr 38.17-19;42.15-16;Ez 17.19-21não o servirem a ele, Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, e que não meterem o seu pescoço debaixo do jugo do rei de Babilônia, a essa nação castigá-la-ei, diz Jeová, com *Jr 27.13;Jr 24.10;29.17-18;Ez 14.21a espada, e com a fome, e com a peste, até que os tenha consumido pela mão dele. 9 Mas, quanto a vós, *Êx 22.18;Dt 18.10;Is 8.19;Ml 3.5não escuteis os vossos profetas, nem os vossos adivinhadores, nem os vossos sonhos, nem os vossos agoureiros, nem os vossos encantadores, que vos dizem: Não servireis o rei de Babilônia. 10 Porque eles vos profetizam *Jr 23.25a mentira, com o fim *Jr 8.19;32.31de vos removerem para longe da vossa terra e a fim de que sejais *Jr 27.15expulsos por mim e venhais a perecer. 11 Mas a nação que *Jr 27.2,8,12meter o seu pescoço debaixo do jugo do rei de Babilônia e o servir, a essa nação *Jr 21.9;38.2;40.9-12;42.10-11deixá-la-ei ficar na sua terra, diz Jeová; lavrá-la-ão e nela habitarão.

12 Falei a *Jr 27.3;Jr 28.1Zedequias, rei de Judá, segundo todas essas palavras, dizendo: *Jr 27.2,8Metei os vossos pescoços debaixo do jugo do rei de Babilônia, e servi-o, a ele e ao seu povo, e vivei. 13 Por que *Jr 27.8;Jr 38.23;Pv 8.36;Ez 18.31morrereis, tu e o teu povo, à espada, de fome e de peste, como disse Jeová acerca da nação que não servir ao rei de Babilônia? 14 *Jr 27.9;2Co 11.13-15Não escuteis as palavras dos profetas que vos dizem: Não servireis ao rei de Babilônia; porque eles vos profetizam *Jr 27.10;Ez 13.22a mentira. 15 Pois *Jr 23.21;29.9não os enviei, diz Jeová, mas eles profetizam *Jr 23.25falsamente em meu nome, para que eu *Jr 27.10;2Cr 25.16vos lance fora e para que vós venhais a perecer, *Jr 6.13-15;14.15-16;Mt 15.14vós e os profetas que vos profetizam.

16 Também falei aos sacerdotes e a todo este povo: Assim diz Jeová: Não escuteis as palavras dos vossos profetas que vos profetizam, dizendo: Eis que *Jr 28.3;2Rs 24.13;2Cr 36.7,10os vasos da Casa de Jeová agora cedo serão trazidos de Babilônia, porque eles vos profetizam *Jr 27.10a mentira. 17 Não os escuteis; servi ao rei de Babilônia e vivei. Por que *Jr 27.13;Jr 7.34se tornaria esta cidade em desolação? 18 Mas, *1Rs 18.24se são profetas, e se há neles a palavra de Jeová, *Jr 18.20;1Sm 7.8;12.19,23intercedam, agora, junto a Jeová dos Exércitos, para que não vão para Babilônia os vasos que ficaram na Casa de Jeová, e na casa do rei de Judá, e em Jerusalém. 19 Pois assim diz Jeová dos Exércitos acerca das *Jr 52.17-23;1Rs 7.15, etc.;2Rs 25.13,17colunas, e acerca do mar, e acerca das bases, e acerca do resto dos vasos que ficaram nesta cidade, 20 os quais Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, não tomou quando *Jr 22.28;24.1;2Rs 24.12,14-16;2Cr 36.10,18levou cativos de Jerusalém para Babilônia Jeconias, filho de Jeoaquim, filho de Judá, e todos os nobres de Judá e de Jerusalém; 21 sim, isso diz Jeová dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, acerca dos vasos que ficaram na Casa de Jeová, e na casa do rei de Judá, e em Jerusalém: 22 A Babilônia *Jr 29.10;34.2-3serão levados e ali ficarão *Jr 27.7;Jr 25.11-12;29.10;32.5até o dia em que os visitar, diz Jeová; então, *Ed 1.7-11;5.13-15;7.9,19farei trazer e restituí-los a este lugar.

1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,*27.2 saith…: or, hath the LORD said 3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah; 4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;*27.4 to say…: or, concerning their masters, saying 5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. 7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him. 8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. 9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:*27.9 dreamers: Heb. dreams 10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish. 11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. 13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. 15 For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.*27.15 a lie: Heb. in a lie, or, lyingly 16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. 17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste? 18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

19 For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city, 20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem; 21 Yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem; 22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
