1 Salmo. Felizes aqueles cuja vida é pura, e seguem a lei do Senhor.2 Felizes os que guardam com esmero seus preceitos e o procuram de todo o coração;3 e os que não praticam o mal, mas andam em seus caminhos.4 Impusestes vossos preceitos, para serem observados fielmente;5 oxalá se firmem os meus passos na observância de vossas leis.6 Não serei então confundido, se fixar os olhos nos vossos mandamentos.7 Louvar-vos-ei com reto coração, uma vez instruído em vossos justos decretos.8 Guardarei as vossas leis; não me abandoneis jamais.9 Como um jovem manterá pura a sua vida? Sendo fiel às vossas palavras.10 De todo o coração eu vos procuro; não permitais que eu me aparte de vossos mandamentos.11 Guardo no fundo do meu coração a vossa palavra, para não vos ofender.12 Sede bendito, Senhor; ensinai-me vossas leis.13 Meus lábios enumeram todos os decretos de vossa boca.14 Na observância de vossas ordens eu me alegro, muito mais do que em todas as riquezas.15 Sobre os vossos preceitos meditarei, e considerarei vossos caminhos.16 Hei de deleitar-me em vossas leis; jamais esquecerei vossas palavras.17 Concedei a vosso servo esta graça: que eu viva guardando vossas palavras.18 Abri meus olhos, para que veja as maravilhas de vossa lei.19 Peregrino sou na terra, não me oculteis os vossos mandamentos.20 Consome-se minha alma no desejo perpétuo de observar vossos decretos.21 Repreendestes os soberbos, malditos os que se apartam de vossos mandamentos.22 Livrai-me do opróbrio e do desprezo, pois observo as vossas ordens.23 Mesmo que os príncipes conspirem contra mim, vosso servo meditará em vossas leis.24 Vossos preceitos são minhas delícias, meus conselheiros são as vossas leis.25 Prostrada no pó está minha alma, restituí-me a vida conforme vossa promessa.26 Eu vos exponho a minha vida, para que me atendais: ensinai-me as vossas leis.27 Mostrai-me o caminho de vossos preceitos, e meditarei em vossas maravilhas.28 Chora de tristeza a minha alma; reconfortai-me segundo vossa promessa.29 Afastai-me do caminho da mentira, e fazei-me fiel à vossa lei.30 Escolhi o caminho da verdade, impus-me os vossos decretos.31 Apego-me a vossas ordens, Senhor. Não permitais que eu seja confundido.32 Correrei pelo caminho de vossos mandamentos, porque sois vós que dilatais meu coração.33 Mostrai-me, Senhor, o caminho de vossas leis, para que eu nele permaneça com fidelidade.34 Ensinai-me a observar a vossa lei e a guardá-la de todo o coração.35 Conduzi-me pelas sendas de vossas leis, porque nelas estão minhas delícias.36 Inclinai-me o coração às vossas ordens e não para a avareza.37 Não permitais que meus olhos vejam a vaidade, fazei-me viver em vossos caminhos.38 Cumpri a promessa para com vosso servo, que fizestes àqueles que vos temem.39 Afastai de mim a vergonha que receio, pois são agradáveis os vossos decretos.40 Anseio pelos vossos preceitos; dai-me que viva segundo vossa justiça.41 Desçam a mim as vossas misericórdias, Senhor, e a vossa salvação, conforme vossa promessa.42 Saberei o que responder aos que me ultrajam, porque tenho confiança em vossa palavra.43 Não me tireis jamais da boca a palavra da verdade, porque tenho confiança em vossos decretos.44 Guardarei constantemente a vossa lei, para sempre e pelos séculos dos séculos.45 Andarei por um caminho seguro, porque procuro os vossos preceitos.46 Diante dos reis falarei de vossas prescrições, e não me envergonharei.47 Encontrarei minhas delícias em vossos mandamentos, porque os amo.48 Erguerei as mãos para executar vossos mandamentos, e meditarei em vossas leis.49 Lembrai-vos da palavra empenhada ao vosso servo, na qual me fizestes encontrar esperança.50 O único consolo em minha aflição é que vossa palavra me dá vida.51 De sarcasmos cumulam-me os soberbos, mas de vossa lei não me afasto.52 Lembro-me de vossos juízos de outrora, e isso me consola.53 Revolto-me à vista dos pecadores, que abandonam a vossa lei.54 Vossas leis são objeto de meus cantares no lugar de meu exílio.55 De noite, lembro-me, Senhor, de vosso nome; guardarei a vossa lei.56 Escolhi, como parte que me toca, observar vossos preceitos.57 Minha partilha, Senhor, eu o declaro, é guardar as vossas palavras.58 De todo o coração imploro em vossa presença: tende piedade de mim como haveis prometido.59 Considero os meus atos, e regulo meus passos conforme as vossas ordens.60 Apresso-me, sem hesitação, em observar os vossos mandamentos.61 As malhas dos ímpios me cercaram, mas eu não esqueço a vossa lei.62 Em meio à noite levanto-me para vos louvar pelos vossos decretos cheios de justiça.63 Sou amigo de todos os que vos temem e dos que seguem vossos preceitos.64 De vossa bondade, Senhor, está cheia a terra; ensinai-me as vossas leis.65 Tratastes com benevolência o vosso servo, Senhor, segundo a vossa palavra.66 Dai-me o juízo reto e a sabedoria, porque confio em vossos mandamentos.67 Antes de ser afligido pela provação, errei; mas agora guardo a vossa palavra.68 Vós que sois bom e benfazejo, ensinai-me as vossas leis.69 Contra mim os soberbos maquinam caluniosamente, mas eu, de todo o coração, fico fiel aos vossos preceitos.70 Seu espírito tornou-se espesso como sebo; eu, porém, me deleito em vossa lei.71 Foi bom para mim ser afligido, a fim de aprender vossos decretos.72 Mais vale para mim a lei de vossa boca que montes de ouro e prata.73 Formaram-me e plasmaram-me vossas mãos, dai-me a sabedoria para aprender os vossos mandamentos.74 Aqueles que vos temem alegrem-se ao me ver, porque em vossa palavra pus minha esperança.75 Sei, Senhor, que são justos os vossos decretos e que com razão vós me provastes.76 Venha-me em auxílio a vossa misericórdia, e console-me segundo a promessa feita a vosso servo.77 Venham sobre mim as vossas misericórdias, para que eu viva, porque a vossa lei são as minhas delícias.78 Sejam confundidos esses orgulhosos que sem razão me afligem; porque medito em vossos preceitos.79 Voltem para mim os que vos temem e os que observam as vossas prescrições.80 Seja perfeito meu coração na observância de vossas leis, a fim de que eu não seja confundido.81 Desfalece-me a alma ansiando por vosso auxílio; em vossa palavra ponho minha esperança.82 Enlanguescem-me os olhos desejando a vossa palavra; quando vireis consolar-me?83 Assemelho-me a um odre exposto ao fumeiro, e, contudo, não me esqueci de vossas leis.84 Por quantos dias fareis esperar o vosso servo? Quando lhe fareis justiça de seus perseguidores?85 Para mim cavaram fossas os orgulhosos, que não guardam a vossa lei.86 Todos os vossos mandamentos são justos; sem razão me perseguem; ajudai-me.87 Por pouco não me exterminaram da terra; eu, porém, não abandonei vossos preceitos.88 Conservai-me vivo em vossa misericórdia, para que eu observe as prescrições de vossa boca.89 É eterna, Senhor, vossa palavra, tão estável como o céu.90 Vossa verdade dura de geração em geração, tão estável como a terra que criastes.91 Tudo subsiste perpetuamente pelos vossos decretos, porque o universo vos é sujeito.92 Se em vossa lei não tivesse encontrado as minhas delícias, já teria perecido em minha aflição.93 Jamais esquecerei vossos preceitos, porque por eles é que me dais a vida.94 Sou vosso, salvai-me, porquanto busco vossos preceitos.95 Espreitam-me os pecadores para me perder, mas eu atendo às vossas ordens.96 Vi que há um termo em toda perfeição, mas vossa lei se estende sem limites.97 Ah, quanto amo, Senhor, a vossa lei! Durante o dia todo eu a medito.98 Mais sábio que meus inimigos me fizeram os vossos mandamentos, pois eles me acompanham sempre.99 Sou mais prudente do que todos os meus mestres, porque vossas prescrições são o único objeto de minha meditação.100 Sou mais sensato do que os anciãos, porque observo os vossos preceitos.101 Dos maus caminhos desvio os meus pés, para poder guardar vossas palavras.102 De vossos decretos eu não me desvio, porque vós mos ensinastes.103 Quão saborosas são para mim vossas palavras! São mais doces que o mel à minha boca.104 Vossos preceitos me fizeram sábio, por isso odeio toda senda iníqua.105 Vossa palavra é um facho que ilumina meus passos, uma luz em meu caminho.106 Faço juramento e me obrigo a guardar os vossos justos decretos.107 Estou extremamente aflito, Senhor; conservai-me a vida como prometestes.108 Aceitai, Senhor, a oferenda da minha promessa e ensinai-me as vossas ordens.109 Em constante perigo está a minha vida, mas não me esqueço de vossa lei.110 Armaram-me laços os pecadores, mas não fugi de vossos preceitos.111 Minha herança eterna são as vossas prescrições, porque fazem a alegria de meu coração.112 Inclinei o meu coração à prática de vossas ordens, perpetuamente e com exatidão.113 Odeio os homens hipócritas, mas amo a vossa lei.114 Vós sois meu abrigo e meu escudo; vossa palavra é minha esperança.115 Afastai-vos de mim, homens malignos! E guardarei os mandamentos de meu Deus.116 Sustentai-me pela vossa promessa, para que eu viva, não queirais confundir minha esperança.117 Ajudai-me para que me salve, e sempre atenderei a vossos decretos.118 Desprezais os que se apartam de vossas leis, porque mentirosos são seus pensamentos.119 Como escória reputais os pecadores, por isso eu amo as vossas prescrições.120 O respeito que tenho por vós me faz estremecer e vossos decretos inspiram-me temor.121 Pratico o direito e a justiça; não me entregueis aos que me querem oprimir.122 Sede fiador de vosso servo para a sua segurança, a fim de que os orgulhosos não me oprimam.123 Desfalecem-me os olhos desejando vossa ajuda e na espera de vossas promessas de felicidade.124 Tratai vosso servo segundo vossa bondade, e ensinai-me vossas leis.125 Sou vosso servo: ensinai-me a sabedoria, para que conheça as vossas prescrições.126 Senhor, é tempo de vós intervirdes, porque violaram as vossas leis.127 Por isso amo os vossos mandamentos, mais que o ouro, mesmo o ouro mais fino.128 Por isso escolhi as vossas leis como partilha, e detesto o caminho da mentira.129 São admiráveis as vossas prescrições, por isso minha alma as observa.130 Vossas palavras são uma verdadeira luz, que dá sabedoria aos simples.131 Abro a boca para aspirar, num intenso amor de vossa lei.132 Voltai-vos para mim e mostrai-me vossa misericórdia, como fazeis sempre para com os que amam o vosso nome.133 Dirigi meus passos segundo a vossa palavra, a fim de que jamais o pecado reine sobre mim.134 Livrai-me da opressão dos homens, para que possa guardar as vossas ordens.135 Fazei brilhar sobre o vosso servo o esplendor da vossa face, e ensinai-me as vossas leis.136 Muitas lágrimas correram de meus olhos, por não ver observada a vossa lei.137 Justo sois, Senhor, e retos os vossos juízos.138 Promulgastes vossas prescrições com toda a justiça, em toda a verdade.139 Sinto-me consumido pela dor ao ver meus inimigos negligenciar vossas palavras.140 Vossa palavra é isenta de toda a impureza, vosso servo a ama com fervor.141 Sou pequeno e desprezado, mas não esqueço os vossos preceitos!142 Vossa justiça é justiça eterna; e firme, a vossa lei.143 Apesar da angústia e da tribulação que caíram sobre mim, vossos mandamentos continuam a ser minhas delícias.144 Eterna é a justiça das vossas prescrições; dai-me a compreensão delas para que eu viva.145 De todo o coração eu clamo. Ouvi-me, Senhor; e observarei as vossas leis.146 Clamo a vós: salvai-me, para que eu guarde as vossas prescrições.147 Já desde a aurora imploro vosso auxílio; nas vossas palavras ponho minha esperança.148 Meus olhos se antecipam às vigílias da noite, para meditarem em vossa palavra.149 Conforme vossa misericórdia, ouvi, Senhor, a minha voz; e dai-me a vida, segundo vossa promessa.150 Aproximam-se os que me perseguem sem razão, eles estão longe de vossa lei.151 Mas vós, Senhor, estais bem perto, e os vossos mandamentos são a verdade.152 De há muito sei que vossas prescrições, vós as estabelecestes desde toda a eternidade.153 Vede a minha aflição e libertai-me, porque não me esqueci de vossa lei.154 Tomai em vossas mãos a minha causa e vingai-me; como prometestes, dai-me a vida.155 Longe dos pecadores está a salvação, daqueles que não observam as vossas leis.156 São muitas, Senhor, as vossas misericórdias; dai-me a vida segundo as vossas decisões.157 Apesar do número dos que me perseguem e oprimem, não me aparto em nada de vossos preceitos.158 Ao ver os prevaricadores sinto desgosto, porque eles não observam a vossa palavra.159 Vede, Senhor, como amo vossos preceitos; conservai-me vivo segundo vossa promessa.160 O sumário da vossa palavra é a verdade, eternos são os decretos de vossa justiça.161 Perseguem-me sem razão os poderosos; meu coração só reverencia vossas palavras.162 Encontro minha alegria na vossa palavra, como a de quem encontra um imenso tesouro.163 Odeio o mal, eu o detesto; mas amo a vossa lei.164 Sete vezes ao dia publico vossos louvores, por causa da justiça de vossos juízos.165 Grande paz têm aqueles que amam vossa lei: não há para eles nada que os perturbe.166 Espero, Senhor, o vosso auxílio, e cumpro os vossos mandamentos.167 Minha alma é fiel às vossas prescrições, e eu as amo com fervor.168 Guardo os vossos preceitos e as vossas ordens, porque ante vossos olhos está minha vida inteira.169 Chegue até vós, Senhor, o meu clamor; instruí-me segundo a vossa palavra.170 Chegue até vós a minha prece; livrai-me segundo a vossa palavra.171 Meus lábios cantem a vós um cântico, por me haverdes ensinado as vossas leis.172 Cante minha língua as vossas palavras, porque justos são os vossos mandamentos.173 Estenda-se a vossa mão e me socorra, porque escolhi vossos preceitos.174 Suspiro, Senhor, pela vossa salvação, e a vossa lei são as minhas delícias.175 Viva a minha alma para vos louvar, e ajudem-me os vossos decretos.176 Ando errante como ovelha tresmalhada; vinde em busca do vosso servo, porque não me esqueci de vossos mandamentos!

1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] those [who walk] in the perfect way, who walk in the law of the LORD.2 Blessed [are] those that keep his testimonies [and that] seek him with [their] whole heart.3 For those who do no iniquity walk in his ways.4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.5 O that my ways were ordered to keep thy statutes!6 Then I shall not be ashamed, when I have insight unto all thy commandments.7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.8 I will keep thy statutes; O do not utterly forsake me.9 BETH. With what shall a young man cleanse his way? when he shall keep thy word.10 With my whole heart I have sought thee; O let me not err from thy commandments.11 Thy [spoken] word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.13 With my lips I have declared all the judgments of thy mouth.14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies as above all riches.15 I will meditate in thy precepts and consider thy ways.16 I will delight myself in thy statutes; I will not forget thy words.17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant [that] I may live and keep thy word.18 Open my eyes, and I shall behold the wonders of thy law.19 I [am] a stranger in the earth; hide not thy commandments from me.20 My soul is broken from desiring thy judgments at all times.21 Thou hast reprehended the proud; cursed are those who err from thy commandments.22 Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept thy testimonies.23 Princes also sat [and] spoke against me as thy servant spoke according to thy statutes.24 For thy testimonies are my delight and my counsellors.25 DALETH. My soul cleaves unto the dust; quicken me according to thy word.26 I have declared my ways, and thou didst hear me; teach me thy statutes.27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts; so I shall meditate of thy wondrous works.28 My soul melts for heaviness; strengthen me according to thy word.29 Remove from me the way of lying, and from thy law grant me mercy.30 I have chosen the way of truth; I have laid thy judgments [before me].31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.32 I will run the way of thy commandments when thou shalt enlarge my heart.33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it [unto] the end.34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; [yea], I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments, for therein do I delight.36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness.37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, [and] cause me to live in thy way.38 Confirm thy word unto thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.39 Turn away my reproach which I have feared, for thy judgments [are] good.40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts; cause me to live in thy righteousness.41 VAU. Let thy mercy come unto me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy [spoken] word.42 And I shall answer him that reproaches me, [by saying] that I trust in thy word.43 And take not at any time the word of truth out of my mouth; for I wait for thy judgment.44 So shall I keep thy law continually from age to age.45 And I will walk at liberty, for I sought thy commandments.46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed.47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.48 I will lift up My hands unto thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate in thy statutes.49 ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, in which thou hast caused me to wait.50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction; for thy [spoken] word has caused me to live.51 The proud have had me greatly in derision; [yet] I have not deviated from thy law.52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD, and have consoled myself.53 Horror has taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.57 CHETH My portion, O LORD, I have said, will be to keep thy words.58 I intreated thy presence with [my] whole heart; be merciful unto me according to thy word.59 I considered my ways and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.60 I made haste and did not delay to keep thy commandments.61 The company of the wicked have robbed me, [but] I have not forgotten thy law.62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of the judgments of thy righteousness.63 I [am] a companion of all [those] that fear thee and of those that keep thy precepts.64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy [and] teaches me thy statutes.65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word,66 [which] teaches me discernment and knowledge, for I have believed thy commandments.67 Before I was humbled, I went into error, but now I keep thy [spoken] word.68 Thou [art] good and doest good; teach me thy statutes.69 The proud have forged a lie against me, [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.70 Their heart became fat like grease, [but] I delight in thy law.71 [It was] good for me that I have been humbled, that I might learn thy statutes.72 The law of thy mouth [is] better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, and I shall learn thy commandments.74 Those that fear thee will be glad when they see me because I have waited on thy word.75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.76 Let, I pray thee, thy mercy be for my comfort, according to thy [spoken] word unto thy servant.77 Let thy mercy come unto me, that I may live, for thy law [is] my delight.78 Let the proud be ashamed, for they dealt perversely with me without a cause, [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me and those that have known thy testimonies.80 Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes that I not be ashamed.81 CAPH. My soul faints [with desire] for thy salvation as I await thy word.82 Mine eyes fail for thy [spoken] word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?83 For I am become like a wine skin in the smoke; [yet] I have not forgotten thy statutes.84 How many [are] the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on those that persecute me?85 The proud have dug pits for me, but they do not [proceed] according to thy law.86 All thy commandments [are of the same] truth; they persecute me wrongfully; help me.87 They have almost consumed me upon earth, but I have not forsaken thy precepts.88 Cause me to live according to thy mercy, so I shall keep the testimony of thy mouth.89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in the heavens.90 Thy truth [is] from generation to generation; thou hast established the earth, and it perseveres.91 They persevere unto this day by thy ordinance; for they [are] all thy servants.92 Unless thy law [had been] my delight, I should have perished in my affliction.93 I will never forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast caused me to live.94 I [am] thine, keep me; for I have sought thy precepts.95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me, [but] I will consider thy testimonies.96 I have seen an end of all perfection, [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.97 MEM. O how I love thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies, for they are eternal unto me.99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies [have been] my meditation.100 I understand more than the elders because I keep thy precepts.101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.102 I have not departed from thy judgments, for thou hast taught me.103 How sweet have been thy [spoken] words unto my taste! [yea], [sweeter] than honey to my mouth!104 Through thy precepts I have obtained understanding; therefore I have hated every false way.105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my way.106 I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep the judgments of thy righteousness.107 I am afflicted very much; cause me to live, O LORD, according to thy word.108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.109 My soul [is] continually in my hand; yet I do not forget thy law.110 The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet did not I err from thy precepts.111 I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage for ever; for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, [even unto] the end.113 SAMECH. I hate [vain] thoughts; but I live thy law.114 Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield; I have waited for thy word.115 Depart from me, ye evildoers; for I will keep the commandments of my God.116 Uphold me according unto thy word, and I shall live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope.117 Hold me up, and I shall be saved, and I shall delight in thy statutes continually.118 Thou hast trodden down all those that err from thy statutes; for their deceit [is] falsehood.119 Thou dost cause all the wicked of the earth to come undone [like] dross; therefore I have loved thy testimonies.120 My flesh trembles for fear of thee, and I am afraid of thy judgments.121 AIN. I have complied with judgment and righteousness; do not leave me to my oppressors.122 Be surety for thy servant for good; do not let the proud do violence unto me.123 Mine eyes fail for thy saving health and for the [spoken] word of thy righteousness.124 Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.125 I [am] thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.126 [It is] time for [thee], O LORD, to act; [for] they have dissipated thy law.127 Therefore I have loved thy commandments above gold, [yea], above fine gold.128 Therefore I have esteemed all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right [and] I have hated every false way.129 PE. Thy testimonies [are] wonderful; therefore does my soul keep them.130 The exposition of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.131 I opened my mouth and panted; for I longed for thy commandments.132 Look thou upon me and be merciful unto me, as thou didst use to do unto those that love thy name.133 Order my steps with thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.134 Ransom me from the violence of men, and I will keep thy precepts.135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant and teach me thy statutes.136 Rivers of waters ran down my eyes because they did not keep thy law.137 TZADDI. Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, and upright [are] thy judgments.138 Thou hast commanded righteousness, [which consists of] thy testimonies and thy truth.139 My zeal has consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten thy words.140 Thy word [is] very pure; therefore thy servant loves it.141 I [am] small and despised; [yet] I have not forgotten thy precepts.142 Thy righteousness [is] eternal righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.143 Trouble and anguish found me; [but] thy commandments [were] my delights.144 Thy testimonies [are] eternal righteousness; give me understanding, and I shall live.145 KOPH. I cried with [my] whole heart; answer me, O LORD, and I will keep thy statutes.146 I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.147 I arose before the dawning of the morning and cried: I waited in thy word.148 My eyes anticipate the [night] watches that I might meditate in thy [spoken] word.149 Hear my voice according to thy mercy; O LORD, cause me to live according to thy judgment.150 Those that persecute [me] draw near unto evil; they have strayed from thy law.151 Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.153 RESH. Consider my affliction and deliver me; for I have not forgotten thy law.154 Plead my cause and redeem me; quicken me according to thy [spoken] word.155 Saving health [is] far from the wicked, for they do not seek thy statutes.156 Many [are] thy tender mercies, O LORD: cause me to live according to thy judgments.157 Many [are] my persecutors and my enemies; [yet] I do not deviate from thy testimonies.158 I beheld the transgressors and was grieved because they did not keep thy words.159 Consider, O LORD, that I love thy precepts; cause me to live according to thy mercy.160 The beginning of thy word [is] truth, and every one of the judgments of thy righteousness is eternal.161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of thy words.162 I rejoice at thy [spoken] word, as one that finds great spoil.163 I hate and abhor lying, [but] I love thy law.164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of the judgments of thy righteousness.165 Those who love thy law have great peace, and nothing shall cause them to stumble.166 LORD, I have waited for thy saving health and done thy commandments.167 My soul has kept thy testimonies, and I have loved them exceedingly.168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies, for all my ways [are] before thee.169 TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to thy word.170 Let my supplication come before thee; deliver me according to thy [spoken] word.171 My lips shall overflow with praise when thou hast taught me thy statutes.172 My tongue shall speak thy words; for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.173 Let thine hand help me, for I have chosen thy precepts.174 I have longed for thy saving health, O LORD, and thy law [is] my delight.175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee, and let thy judgments help me.176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I have not forgotten thy commandments.:
