1 Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo. Cantai ao Senhor, terra inteira.2 Cantai ao Senhor e bendizei o seu nome, anunciai cada dia a salvação que ele nos trouxe.3 Proclamai às nações a sua glória, a todos os povos as suas maravilhas.4 Porque o Senhor é grande e digno de todo o louvor, o único temível de todos os deuses.5 Porque os deuses dos pagãos, sejam quais forem, não passam de ídolos. Mas foi o Senhor quem criou os céus.6 Em seu semblante, a majestade e a beleza; em seu santuário, o poder e o esplendor.7 Tributai ao Senhor, famílias dos povos, tributai ao Senhor a glória e a honra,8 tributai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome. Trazei oferendas e entrai nos seus átrios.9 Adorai o Senhor, com ornamentos sagrados. Diante dele estremece a terra inteira.10 Dizei às nações: O Senhor é rei. E {a terra} não vacila, porque ele a sustém. Governa os povos com justiça.11 Alegrem-se os céus e exulte a terra, retumbe o oceano e o que ele contém,12 regozijem-se os campos e tudo o que existe neles. Jubilem todas as árvores das florestas13 com a presença do Senhor, que vem, pois ele vem para governar a terra: julgará o mundo com justiça, e os povos segundo a sua verdade.

1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; sing unto the LORD, all the earth.2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; show forth his saving health from day to day.3 Declare his glory among the Gentiles, his wonders among all peoples.4 For the LORD [is] great and greatly to be praised; he [is] to be feared above all gods.5 For all the gods of the nations [are] idols, but the LORD made the heavens.6 Honour and majesty [are] before him; strength and beauty [are] in his sanctuary.7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the peoples, give unto the LORD the glory and the strength.8 Give unto the LORD the glory [due unto] his name; bring offerings, and come into his courts.9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; fear before him, all the earth.10 Say among the Gentiles [that] the LORD reigns; he also has established the world, it shall not be moved; he shall judge the peoples righteously.11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar and the fullness thereof.12 Let the field be joyful and all that [is] therein; then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice13 before the LORD; for he has come, for he has come to judge the earth; he shall judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his truth.:
