1 Cântico das peregrinações. Felizes os que temem o Senhor, os que andam em seus caminhos.2 Poderás viver, então, do trabalho de tuas mãos, serás feliz e terás bem-estar.3 Tua mulher será em teu lar como uma vinha fecunda. Teus filhos em torno à tua mesa serão como brotos de oliveira.4 Assim será abençoado aquele que teme o Senhor.5 De Sião te abençoe o Senhor para que em todos os dias de tua vida gozes da prosperidade de Jerusalém,6 e para que possas ver os filhos dos teus filhos. 1 A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] every one that fears the LORD, that walks in his ways.2 When thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands; happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.3 Thy wife [shall be] as a fruitful vine by the sides of thy house; thy children like olive plants round about thy table.4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion, and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children [and] peace upon Israel.:
