1 ငါသည် သနားစုံမက်ခြင်း၊ တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်ခြင်းကိုအကြောင်းပြု၍ သီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ရှေ့တော်၌ သီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။ 2 စုံလင်သော တရားအတိုင်း ပညာသတိနှင့် ကျင့်ပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ဆီသို့ အဘယ်ကာလမှ ကြွလာတော်မူမည်နည်း။ ကိုယ်အိမ်တွင် သန့်ရှင်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးနှင့် ကျင့်ပါမည်။ 3 အဓမ္မအမှုအရာကို မျက်မှောက်မပြုပါ။ လမ်းလွှဲသောသူ၏အမှုကို ရွံရှာသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ၌ မမှီမကပ်ရ။ 4 သဘောကောက်သောသူသည် ငါ့ထံမှထွက်သွားရမည်။ မကောင်းသောသူနှင့် ငါမပေါင်းဖော်။ 5 မိမိအိမ်နီးချင်း၏အသရေကို တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာဖျက်သောသူကို ငါပယ်ဖြတ်မည်။ မျက်နှာထောင်လွှား၍ စိတ်မြင့်သောသူကို သည်းမခံ။ 6 သစ္စာရှိသော ပြည်သားတို့သည် ငါ့ထံမှာနေမည်အကြောင်း သူတို့ကို ငါကြည့်ရှုမည်။ စုံလင်သောတရား၌ ကျင်လည်သောသူသည် ငါ၏အမှုကိုဆောင်ရွက်ရမည်။ 7 လှည့်စားတတ်သောသူမူကား၊ ငါ့အိမ်၌မနေရ။ မုသားစကားကို ပြောတတ်သောသူသည်လည်း၊ ငါ့မျက်မှောက်၌ အခွင့်မရှိရ။ 8 ဆိုးသောအမှုကို ပြုသောသူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား၏မြို့တော်မှ ပယ်ဖြတ်မည်အကြောင်း၊ မတရားသော ပြည်သားရှိသမျှတို့ကို စောစောဖျက်ဆီးလေအံ့သတည်း။
A Psalm of David.
1 I will sing of loving-kindness and judgment: unto thee, Jehovah, will I sing psalms. 2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. When wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. 3 I will set no thing of Belial before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know evil. 5 Whoso secretly slandereth his neighbour, him will I destroy; him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer. 6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. 7 He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehoods shall not subsist in my sight. 8 Every morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land: to cut off all workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.
