1 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ တ​ရား​သော​ဘက်​မှာ​နေ၍ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အော်​ဟစ်​ခြင်း​ကို​မှတ်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ မ​လှည့်​စား​တတ်​သော​နှုတ်​နှင့် ဆု​တောင်း​သော​ပ​တ္ထ​နာ​စ​ကား​ကို နား​ထောင်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 2 ကိုယ်​တော်​တိုင် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို​စီ​ရင်၍ ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို ထောက်​ရှု​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 3 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​နှ​လုံး​ကို​စစ်​ဆေး​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ ည​အ​ခါ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို အ​ကြည့်​အ​ရှု​ကြွ​လာ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို စစ်​ကြော​သော​အ​ခါ အ​ဘယ်​အ​ပြစ်​ကို​မျှ တွေ့​တော်​မ​မူ​ရာ။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​ကြံ​အ​စည်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​စ​ကား​နှင့် မ​ခြား​မ​နား​ပါ။ 4 လူ​ပြု​တတ်​သော အ​မှု​များ​မှာ၊ ဖျက်​ဆီး​တတ်​သော​သူ၏​လမ်း​တို့​ကို နှုတ်​က​ပတ်​တော်​အား​ဖြင့် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ရှောင်​ပါ​ပြီ။ 5 လမ်း​ခ​ရီး​တော်၌ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သွား​စဉ်​တွင် ခြေ​မ​ချော်​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ ထောက်​မ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 6 အို​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် နား​ထောင်​တော်​မူ​တတ်​သော​ကြောင့် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည်​တောင်း​လျှောက်​ပါ၏။ နား​တော်​ကို​လှည့်၍ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​စ​ကား​ကို နာ​ယူ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။

7 ကိုယ်​တော်​ကို ခို​လှုံ​သော​သူ​တို့​ကို သူ​ပုန်​တို့​လက်​မှ၊ လက်​ယာ​လက်​တော်​အား​ဖြင့် ကယ်​နုတ်​တော်​မူ​သော​ဘု​ရား၊ ထူး​ဆန်း​သော မေ​တ္တာ​ကျေး​ဇူး​တော်​ကို ပြ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 8,9 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​သော​လူ​ဆိုး​တည်း​ဟူ​သော အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို ဝိုင်း၍​သတ်​လို​သော ရန်​သူ​တို့​လက်​မှ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို လွတ်​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ၊ မျက်​ဆန်​ကဲ့​သို့ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို​စောင့်​မ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ အ​တောင်​တော်​အ​ရိပ်​ထဲ​မှာ ဖုံး​အုပ်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 10 သူ​တို့​သည် မိ​မိ​တို့​ဆူ​ဝ​ခြင်း​ကို ကိုး​စား၍ ထောင်​လွှား​စော်​ကား​စွာ ပြော​ဆို​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 11 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​တို့​သွား​သော​လမ်း​ကို ယ​ခု​ဝိုင်း​မိ​ကြ​ပါ​ပြီ။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​တို့​ကို မြေ​ပေါ်​မှာ​လှဲ​ခြင်း​ငှာ မျက်​စိ​နှင့် ရွယ်​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 12 ဖမ်း​မိ​သော​အ​ကောင်​ကို စား​ချင်​အား​ကြီး​သော ခြင်္သေ့​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ဆိတ်​ကွယ်​ရာ​အ​ရပ်၌ ချောင်း၍​နေ​သော ခြင်္သေ့​ပျို​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း ဖြစ်​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 13 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ထ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ သူ​တို့​ကို​ဆီး​တား၍ လှဲ​ချ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​လက်​မှ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​သက်​ကို ဓား​တော်​ဖြင့် ကယ်​လွှတ်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 14 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ လော​ကီ​သား​ဖြစ်​သော​ထို​လူ​တို့​လက်​မှ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​သက်​ကို လက်​တော်​ဖြင့် ကယ်​လွှတ်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ ထို​သူ​တို့​သည် ယ​ခု​ဘ​ဝ​မှာ မိ​မိ​တို့​အ​ဖို့​ကို ခံ​ရ​ကြ​ပါ၏။ သူ​တို့​အ​လို​ကို ဘ​ဏ္ဍာ​တော်​နှင့် ပြည့်​စုံ​စေ​တော်​မူ၏။ သူ​တို့​သား​သ​မီး​တို့​သည်​လည်း ကြွယ်​ဝ၍၊ မြေး​မြစ်​စ​သည်​တို့၌ မိ​မိ​တို့​ဥ​စ္စာ​ကို ချန်​ထား​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 15 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မူ​ကား​ဖြောင့်​မတ်၍ မျက်​နှာ​တော်​ကို​ဖူး​မြင်​ရ​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်။ နိုး​သော​အ​ခါ ပုံ​သ​ဏ္ဌာန်​တော်​အား​ဖြင့် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အလို ပြည့်​စုံ​ရ​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်။

A Prayer of David.

1 Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer, which is not out of feigned lips. 2 Let my judgment come forth from thy presence, let thine eyes regard equity. 3 Thou hast proved my heart, thou hast visited me by night; thou hast tried me, thou hast found nothing: my thought goeth not beyond my word. 4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept from the paths of the violent man. 5 When thou holdest my goings in thy paths, my footsteps slip not. 6 I have called upon thee, for thou answerest me, O ·God*GodHebrew: El Incline thine ear unto me, hear my speech. 7 Shew wondrously thy loving-kindnesses, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, 9 From the wicked that destroy me, my deadly enemies, who compass me about. 10 They are enclosed in their own fat; with their mouth they speak proudly. 11 They have now encompassed us in our steps; their eyes have they set, bowing down to the earth. 12 He is like a lion that is greedy of its prey, and as a young lion lurking in secret places. 13 Arise, Jehovah, anticipate him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, thy sword; 14 From men who are thy hand, O Jehovah, from men of this age: their portion is in this life, and their belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure; they have their fill of sons, and leave the rest of their substance to their children. 15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
