1-3 မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် သ​ဘော​ဖြောင့်​သော သူ​တို့​ကို မ​ထင်​မ​ရှား​ပစ်​အံ့​သော​ငှာ လေး​ကို​တင်၍၊ လေး​ညှို့​ပေါ်​မှာ မြား​ကို​ပြင်​ကြ၏။ အမှီ​တံ​ကဲ​တို့​သည် ပျက်​လျှင် ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​သည် အ​ဘယ်​သို့ ပြု​နိုင်​သ​နည်း။ ငါ့​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​အား သင်​သည်​ငှက်​ကဲ့​သို့ ကိုယ်​နေ​ရာ​တောင်​ပေါ်​သို့ ပြေး​ချေ​ဟု အ​ဘယ်​ကြောင့် ပြော​ကြ​သ​နည်း။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ​ခို​လှုံ​ရာ​ဖြစ်​တော်​မူ၏။ 4 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် သန့်​ရှင်း​သော ဗိ​မာန်​တော်၌ ရှိ​တော်​မူ၏။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​ပ​လ္လင်​တော်​သည် ကောင်း​ကင်​ပေါ်​မှာ​တည်၏။ မျက်​စိ​တော်​သည် ကြည့်​ရှု၍ မျက်​ခမ်း​တော်​သည် လူ​သား​တို့​ကို​စစ်​တော်​မူ၏။ 5 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​ကို စုံ​စမ်း​တော်​မူ၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​နှင့် လု​ယူ​ဖျက်​ဆီး​လို​သော​သူ​ကို ဝိ​ညာဉ်​တော်​သည် မုန်း​တော်​မူ၏။ 6 မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​အ​ပေါ်​မှာ တောက်​သော​မီး​ခဲ၊ ကန့်​နှင့်​ရော​သော​မီး​လျှံ၊ ပူ​လောင်​သော မုန်​တိုင်း​ကို​သက်​ရောက်​စေ၍၊ သူ​တို့​သောက်​စ​ရာ​ဖို့ စီ​ရင်​တော်​မူ​မည်။ 7 တ​ရား​သ​ဖြင့် ပြု​တော်​မူ​သော ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် တ​ရား​သော​အ​မှု​ကို​နှစ်​သက်၍ သ​ဘော​ဖြောင့်​သော​သူ​ကို မျက်​နှာ​ပြု​တော်​မူ၏။

1 In Jehovah have I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? 2 For behold, the wicked bend the bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may in darkness shoot at the upright in heart. 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?

4 Jehovah is in the temple of his holiness; Jehovah, — his throne is in the heavens: his eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men. 5 Jehovah trieth the righteous one; but the wicked, and him that loveth violence, his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone; and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. 7 For righteous is Jehovah; he loveth righteousness, his countenance doth behold the upright.
