1 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကယ်​တင်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ သူ​တော်​ကောင်း​မျိုး​သည်​ပြတ်၍ သ​စ္စာ​ရှိ​သော​လူ​မျိုး​သည် လူ​သား​တို့​တွင် ကွယ်​ပျောက်​ပါ၏။ 2 အိမ်​နီး​ချင်း​တို့​သည် တစ်​ဦး​ကို​တစ်​ဦး မု​သား​သုံး၍ ချော့​မော့​သော​နှုတ်​ခမ်း၊ နှစ်​ခွ​သော​စိတ်​နှင့် ပြော​တတ်​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 3,4 ငါ​တို့​သည် ကိုယ်​လျှာ​အား​ဖြင့်​နိုင်​မည်။ ကိုယ်​နှုတ်​ခမ်း​သည် ကိုယ်​အ​မှု​ကို​စောင့်​လိမ့်​မည်။ ငါ​တို့၏​သ​ခင်​ကား အ​ဘယ်​သူ​နည်း​ဟု ပြော​ဆို​သော​သူ​တို့၏ ချော့​မော့​သော​နှုတ်​ခမ်း​နှင့် ဝါ​ကြွား​သော​လျှာ​ရှိ​သ​မျှ​တို့​ကို ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ဖြတ်​တော်​မူ​မည်။ 5 ဆင်း​ရဲ​သော​သူ​သည် ခံ​ရ​သော​ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​ခြင်း၊ ငတ်​မွတ်​သော​သူ၏ ငို​ကြွေး​ခြင်း​ကြောင့် ယ​ခု​ငါ​ထ​မည်။ ကဲ့​ရဲ့​ခြင်း​ကို ခံ​ရ​သော​သူ​အား ချမ်း​သာ​ပေး​မည်​ဟု ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​မိန့်​တော်​မူ၏။

6 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​မိန့်​တော်​မူ​ချက်​တို့​သည် သန့်​ရှင်း​ခြင်း​ရှိ၍ မြေ​နှင့်​ကင်း​စင်​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ၊ မိုက်၌​ခု​နစ်​ကြိမ်​စစ်​သော ငွေ​ကဲ့​သို့​ဖြစ်​ကြ၏။ 7 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် ထို​သူ​တို့​ကို ဤ​လူ​မျိုး​မှ အ​စဉ်​ကာ​ကွယ် စောင့်​မ​တော်​မူ​မည်။ 8 ဆိုး​ယုတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် ချီး​မြှောက်​ခြင်း​သို့​ရောက်​သည်​ကာ​လ၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် အ​ရပ်​ရပ် လှည့်​လည်​ရ​သော​အ​ခွင့်​ရှိ​ကြ၏။

1 Save, Jehovah, for the godly man is gone; for the faithful have failed from among the children of men. 2 They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: with flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak. 3 Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things, 4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who is lord over us? 5 Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set him in safety, at whom they puff. 6 The words of Jehovah are pure words, silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou, Jehovah, wilt keep them, thou wilt preserve them from this generation for ever. 8 The wicked walk about on every side, when vileness is exalted among the children of men.
