1 ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ကျိန်းဝပ်တော်မူသောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် မျှော်ကြည့်ပါ၏။ 2 ကျွန်တို့သည် သခင်လက်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ကျွန်မတို့သည် သခင်မလက်ကိုလည်းကောင်း မျှော်ကြည့်သည်နည်းတူ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကယ်မသနားတော်မူခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို မခံမီတိုင်အောင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မျှော်ကြည့်လျက်နေကြပါ၏။ 3 အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အလွန်အရှက်ကွဲခြင်းကို ခံရပါသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါ။ 4 မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော သူတို့၏ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ မာနကြီးသောသူတို့၏ အရှက်ခွဲခြင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ဝိညာဉ်သည် အလွန်ခံရပါ၏။
A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee do I lift up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes are directed to Jehovah our GodGodHebrew: Elohim until he be gracious unto us. 3 Be gracious unto us, O Jehovah, be gracious unto us; for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
