1 Cantarei o teu amor e a tua justiça, Senhor;

com cânticos te louvarei.

2 Buscarei viver de modo inculpável;

quando virás me ajudar?

Viverei com integridade

em minha própria casa.

3 Não olharei para coisa alguma

que seja má e vulgar.

Odeio todos que agem de forma desonesta;

não terei nada a ver com eles.

4 Rejeitarei ideias perversas

e me manterei afastado de todo mal.

5 Não tolerarei quem difama seu próximo,

não suportarei presunção nem orgulho.

6 Irei à procura dos fiéis

para conviverem comigo.

Só terão permissão de me servir

os que andam no caminho certo.

7 Não permitirei que enganadores habitem em minha casa,

nem que mentirosos permaneçam em minha presença.

8 Minha tarefa diária será acabar com os perversos

e expulsar da cidade do Senhor os que praticam o mal.

I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.3 I will set no base thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside. It shall not cleave to me.4 A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil thing.5 He who slanders his neighbor secretly, him I will destroy. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he shall minister to me.7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before my eyes.8 Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of LORD.
