Tremam os povos!

Ele está sentado em seu trono acima dos querubins.

Trema toda a terra!

exaltado acima de todos os povos.

3 Seja louvado teu grande e temível nome,

pois é santo!

4 Rei poderoso, que ama a justiça,

tu estabeleceste a imparcialidade.

5 Exaltem o Senhor, nosso Deus;

prostrem-se a seus pés, pois ele é santo!

6 Moisés e Arão estavam entre seus sacerdotes,

e Samuel também invocava seu nome.

Clamavam ao Senhor,

e ele lhes respondia.

7 Da coluna de nuvem lhes falava,

e eles seguiam os preceitos e os decretos que ele lhes dava.

8 Ó Senhor, nosso Deus, tu lhes respondias;

eras para eles Deus perdoador,

mas os castigava quando se desviavam.

9 Exaltem o Senhor, nosso Deus,

e prostrem-se em seu santo monte,

pois o Senhor, nosso Deus, é santo!
