1 Ó Senhor, tenho tantos inimigos;

tanta gente é contra mim!

2 São muitos os que dizem:

"Deus nunca o livrará!".

3 Mas tu, Senhor, és um escudo ao meu redor;

és minha glória e manténs minha cabeça erguida.

4 Clamei ao Senhor,

e ele me respondeu de seu santo monte.

acordei em segurança,

pois o Senhor me guardava.
