2 Louvem-no, todos os seus anjos!

Louvem-no, todos os exércitos celestiais!

3 Louvem-no, sol e lua!

Louvem-no, todas as estrelas brilhantes!

4 Louvem-no, altos céus!

Louvem-no, vapores acima das nuvens!

5 Todas as coisas criadas louvem o nome do Senhor,

pois ele ordenou, e elas vieram a existir.

6 Ele as pôs em seu lugar para todo o sempre;

seu decreto jamais será revogado.

7 Louvem o Senhor desde a terra,

vocês criaturas das profundezas do oceano,

8 fogo e granizo, neve e nuvens,*148.8 Ou nevoeiro, ou fumaça.

ventos tempestuosos que lhe obedecem,

9 montanhas e colinas,

árvores frutíferas e cedros,

10 animais selvagens e domésticos,

seres que rastejam e os que voam,

11 reis da terra e todos os povos,

governantes e juízes da terra,

12 rapazes e moças,

idosos e crianças.

13 Louvem todos o nome do Senhor,

pois exaltado é seu nome;

sua glória está acima da terra e dos céus!

14 Ele deu força a seu povo

e honra a seus fiéis,

o povo de Israel, que lhe é chegado.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:*148.10 flying…: Heb. birds of wing

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.*148.13 excellent: Heb. exalted

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
