1 Como é feliz aquele

cuja desobediência é perdoada,

cujo pecado é coberto!

2 Sim, como é feliz aquele

cuja consciência é sempre sincera!

3 Enquanto me recusei a confessar meu pecado,

meu corpo definhou,

e eu gemia o dia inteiro.

4 Dia e noite, tua mão pesava sobre mim;

minha força evaporou como água no calor do verão.

5 Finalmente, confessei a ti todos os meus pecados

e não escondi mais a minha culpa.

Disse comigo: "Confessarei ao Senhor a minha rebeldia",

e tu perdoaste toda a minha culpa.

6 Portanto, todos que forem fiéis orem a ti enquanto há tempo,

para que não se afoguem quando vier a inundação.

7 Pois és meu esconderijo;

tu me guardas da aflição

e me cercas de cânticos de vitória.

"Eu o guiarei pelo melhor caminho para sua vida,

lhe darei conselhos e cuidarei de você.

mas o que confia no Senhor é cercado de amor.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.*32.6 when…: Heb. of finding
