1 Que o Senhor responda ao seu clamor em tempos de sofrimento;

o nome do Deus de Jacó o guarde de todo mal.

2 Que, de seu santuário, ele lhe envie socorro

e, de Sião, o fortaleça.

3 Que ele se lembre de todas as suas ofertas

e olhe com favor para os seus holocaustos.

4 Que ele conceda os desejos do seu coração

e lhe dê sucesso em todos os seus planos.

5 Daremos gritos de alegria pela sua vitória

e hastearemos bandeiras em nome de nosso Deus.

Que o Senhor responda a todas as suas orações.

6 Agora sei que o Senhor salva seu ungido;

ele responderá de seu santo céu

e o livrará com seu grande poder.

7 Alguns povos confiam em carros de guerra, outros, em cavalos,

mas nós confiamos no nome do Senhor, nosso Deus.

8 Tais nações perdem as forças e caem,

mas nós nos levantamos e permanecemos firmes.

9 Dá vitória ao teu rei, ó Senhor!
