1 Oh clap your hands, all you nations.

Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

2 For the LORD Most High is awesome.

He is a great King over all the earth.

3 He subdues nations under us,

and peoples under our feet.

4 He chooses our inheritance for us,

the glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 God has gone up with a shout,

The LORD with the sound of a shofar.

6 Sing praises to God! Sing praises!

Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!

7 For God is the King of all the earth.

Sing praises with understanding.

8 God reigns over the nations.

God sits on his holy throne.

9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together,

the people of the God of Abraham.

For the shields of the earth belong to God.

He is greatly exalted!

2 Porque o Senhor, que é acima de tudo e de todos, é Deus imensamente poderoso. É um rei com uma autoridade total sobre toda a Terra.

3 Ele subjugou os povos diante de nós, e porá as nações sob o nosso mando.

4 Escolheu para nós as suas melhores bênçãos, o melhor de tudo quanto existe para o seu povo, que ele ama.

5 Deus subiu com alegria, sob o toque triunfante das trombetas.

6 Cantem louvores a Deus, sim, cantem louvores ao nosso rei!

7 Pois Deus é rei sobre toda a Terra. Cantem-lhe louvores com harmonia e com inteligência.

8 Ele reina sobre as nações, sentado no seu santo trono.

9 Os chefes dos povos se juntarão a nós, para formarem connosco o povo do Deus de Abraão. Porque no fim de contas a Deus pertencem os governantes da Terra. Deus está acima de todos!
