1 The LORD reigns!

He is clothed with majesty!

The LORD is armed with strength.

The world also is established.

It can’t be moved.

2 Your throne is established from long ago.

You are from everlasting.

3 The floods have lifted up, LORD,

the floods have lifted up their voice.

The floods lift up their waves.

4 Above the voices of many waters,

the mighty breakers of the sea,

The LORD on high is mighty.

5 Your statutes stand firm.

Holiness adorns your house,

LORD, forever more.

2 O teu trono é estável; e dominas desde toda a eternidade.

3 Os mares levantam-se revoltos, ó Deus, os oceanos rugem na violência das suas vagas.

4 Mas o Senhor, lá nas alturas, é bem mais poderoso do que o ruído dessas ondas gigantes, do que um oceano agitado por um furacão.
