1 Hear my cry, God.

Listen to my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed.

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 For you have been a refuge for me,

a strong tower from the enemy.

4 I will dwell in your tent forever.

I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.

5 For you, God, have heard my vows.

You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

6 You will prolong the king’s life.

His years will be for generations.

7 He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever.

Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 So I will sing praise to your name forever,

that I may fulfill my vows daily.

1 Ouve, ó Deus, o meu clamor! Atende à minha oração!

2 Ainda que esteja no fim do mundo clamarei por ti, pois o meu coração está abatido. Leva-me para essa alta e poderosa rocha de salvação.

3 Porque tens sido o meu refúgio, e como uma alta torre fortificada onde o adversário nunca me poderá alcançar.

4 Morarei na tua santa habitação para sempre. Estarei seguro ao abrigo das tuas asas.

5 Pois tu, ó Deus, deste atenção aos meus votos. Deste-me as bênçãos que reservas aos que temem o teu nome.

7 E permanecerei diante de Deus para sempre. Envia a tua benevolência e a tua verdade para que guardem e vigiem a minha vida de rei.

8 Assim cantarei salmos ao teu nome continuamente, cumprindo a minha solene promessa de te louvar todos os dias.
