"4 Os que temem o Senhor digam: "O seu amor dura para sempre! "5 Na minha angústia clamei ao Senhor; e o Senhor me respondeu, dando-me ampla liberdade.6 O Senhor está comigo, não temerei. O que me podem fazer os homens?7 O Senhor está comigo; ele é o meu ajudador. Verei a derrota dos meus inimigos.8 É melhor buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar nos homens.9 É melhor buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar em príncipes.10 Todas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.11 Cercaram-me por todos os lados, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.12 Cercaram-me como um enxame de abelhas, mas logo se extinguiram como espinheiros em chamas. Em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei!13 Empurraram-me para forçar a minha queda, mas o Senhor me ajudou.14 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico; ele é a minha salvação.15 Alegres brados de vitória ressoam nas tendas dos justos: "A mão direita do Senhor age com poder!16 A mão direita do Senhor é exaltada! A mão direita do Senhor age com poder! "17 Não morrerei; mas vivo ficarei para anunciar os feitos do Senhor.18 O Senhor me castigou com severidade, mas não me entregou à morte.19 Abram as portas da justiça para mim, pois quero entrar para dar graças ao Senhor.20 Esta é a porta do Senhor, pela qual entram os justos.21 Dou-te graças, porque me respondeste e foste a minha salvação.22 A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram tornou-se a pedra angular.23 Isso vem do Senhor, e é algo maravilhoso para nós.24 Este é o dia em que o Senhor agiu; alegremo-nos e exultemos neste dia.25 Salva-nos, Senhor! Nós imploramos. Faze-nos prosperar, Senhor! Nós suplicamos.26 Bendito é o que vem em nome do Senhor. Da casa do Senhor nós os abençoamos.27 O Senhor é Deus, fez resplandecer sobre nós a sua luz. Juntem-se ao cortejo festivo, levando ramos até as pontas do altar.28 Tu és o meu Deus; graças te darei! 1 O Give thanks to Jehovah because he is good and his loving kindness is eternal.2 Let the people of Israel say: »His loving kindness is eternal.«3 Let the priests of God say: »His loving kindness is eternal.«4 Let all who worship him say: »His loving kindness is eternal.«5 In my distress I called to Jehovah; he answered me and set me free.6 Jehovah is with me, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?7 It is Jehovah who helps me, and I will see my enemies defeated.8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to depend on people.9 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to depend on human leaders.10 Many enemies were around me; but I destroyed them by the power of Jehovah!11 They were around me on every side; but I destroyed them by the power of Jehovah!12 They swarmed around me like bees, but they burned out as quickly as a brush fire; by the power of Jehovah I destroyed them.13 I was fiercely attacked and was being defeated, but Jehovah helped me.14 Jehovah makes me powerful and strong; he has saved me.15 Listen to the glad shouts of victory in the tents of God's people: Jehovahs mighty power has done it!16 His power has brought us victory, his mighty power in battle!17 I will not die; instead, I will live and proclaim the works of Jehovah.18 Jehovah has punished me severely, but he has not let me die.19 Open the temple gate of righteousness to me and I will go in and give thanks to Jehovah!20 This is the gate of Jehovah; only the righteous can come in.21 I praise you, Jehovah, because you heard me, because you have become my salvation.22 The stone that the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all.23 Jehovah did this and what a wonderful sight it is!24 This is the day Jehovah has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!25 Save us, O Jehovah, save us! Give us success, O Jehovah!26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of Jehovah! We have blessed you from the house of Jehovah.27 Jehovah is God and he has given us light. Bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.28 You are my God, and I give you thanks. I will proclaim your greatness.29 Give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good, and his loving kindness is eternal.
