1 Os que confiam no Senhor são como o monte Sião, que não se pode abalar, mas permanece para sempre.2 Como os montes cercam Jerusalém, assim o Senhor protege o seu povo, desde agora e para sempre.3 O cetro dos ímpios não prevalecerá sobre a terra dada aos justos, se assim fosse, até os justos praticariam a injustiça.  4 Senhor, trata com bondade aos que fazem o bem, aos que têm coração íntegro.5 Mas aos que se desviam por caminhos tortuosos, o Senhor dará o castigo dos malfeitores. Haja paz em Israel!

1 They who trust in Jehovah are like Mount Zion. It is not shaken, but remains forever.2 As the mountains are all around Jerusalem, so Jehovah is all around his people from this time and forever.3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous in case the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.4 Do good, O Jehovah, to the good ones, and to the upright in their hearts.5 Jehovah will lead those who turn away from their crooked ways with the workers of iniquity. Israel will have peace.
