1 Ouve o meu clamor, ó Deus; atenta para a minha oração.2 Desde os confins da terra eu clamo a ti, com o coração abatido; põe-me à salvo na rocha mais alta do que eu.3 Pois tu tens sido o meu refúgio, uma torre forte contra o inimigo.4 Para sempre anseio habitar na tua tenda e refugiar-me no abrigo das tuas asas. Pausa5 Pois ouviste os meus votos, ó Deus; deste-me a herança que concedes aos que temem o teu nome.6 Prolonga os dias do rei, por muitas gerações os seus anos de vida.7 Para sempre esteja ele em seu trono, diante de Deus; envia o teu amor e a tua fidelidade para protegê-lo.8 Então sempre cantarei louvores ao teu nome, cumprindo os meus votos cada dia.

1 Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer!2 In despair and far from home I call to you! Take me to the rock that is my safe refuge,3 for you are my protector, my strong tower defense against my enemies.4 Let me live in your sanctuary all my life. Let me find safety under your wings.5 You have heard my vows, O God, and you have given me what belongs to those who respect your name.6 Add many years to the king's life; let him live on and on!7 May he rule forever in your presence, O God. Protect him with your constant love and faithfulness.8 So I will always sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows day after day.
