1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce. 2 For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth. 3 He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete. 4 Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. Selah. 5 God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet. 6 Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses. 7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding. 8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne. 9 The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.

1 Batei palmas, todos os povos, Aclamai a Deus com vozes de júbilo.

2 Pois Jeová Altíssimo é terrível; É grande Rei sobre toda a terra.

3 Ele nos submeteu os povos a nós, E as nações debaixo dos nossos pés.

4 Para nós escolheu a nossa herança, A glória de Jacó, a quem amou. (Selá)

5 Subiu Deus com aplauso; Jeová subiu ao som de trombeta.

6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; Cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores.

7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; Cantai louvores com canto harmonioso.

8 Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está sentado sobre o seu santo trono.

9 Os príncipes dos povos estão reunidos Para serem o povo do Deus de Abraão, Porque a Deus pertencem os escudos da terra; Ele é sumamente exaltado.
