1 A song of degrees. They that trust in the Lord, shalbe as mount Zion, which can not be remooued, but remaineth for euer. 2 As the mountaines are about Ierusalem: so is the Lord about his people from henceforth and for euer. 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous, least the righteous put forth their hand vnto wickednes. 4 Doe well, O Lord, vnto those that be good and true in their hearts. 5 But these that turne aside by their crooked wayes, them shall the Lord leade with the workers of iniquitie: but peace shalbe vpon Israel.

1 Aqueles que confiam em Jeová, São como o monte Sião que não se pode abalar, mas permanece para sempre.

2 Como em redor de Jerusalém estão os montes, Assim Jeová está em redor do seu povo, Desde agora e para sempre.

3 Pois sobre a sorte dos justos não repousará a vara da maldade, Para que os justos não estendam as suas mãos para a iniqüidade.

4 Faze o bem, Jeová, aos bons E aos que são retos de coração.

5 Mas quanto aos que se desviam para os seus caminhos tortuosos, Jeová levá-los-á juntamente com os que obram iniqüidade. Que a paz seja sobre Israel.
