1 Julga-me, Senhor, pois tenho andado em minha sinceridade; tenho confiado também no Senhor; não vacilarei. 2 Examina-me, Senhor, e prova-me; esquadrinha a minha mente e o meu coração. 3 Porque a tua benignidade está diante dos meus olhos; e tenho andado na tua verdade.

4 Não me tenho assentado com homens vãos, nem converso com os homens dissimulados. 5 Tenho aborrecido a congregação de malfeitores; não me ajunto com os ímpios.

6 Lavo as minhas mãos na inocência; e assim andarei, Senhor, ao redor do teu altar, 7 para publicar com voz de louvor e contar todas as tuas maravilhas. 8 Senhor, eu tenho amado a habitação da tua casa e o lugar onde permanece a tua glória.

9 Não colhas a minha alma com a dos pecadores, nem a minha vida com a dos homens sanguinolentos, 10 em cujas mãos há malefício, e cuja mão direita está cheia de subornos.

11 Mas eu ando na minha sinceridade; livra-me e tem piedade de mim. 12 O meu pé está posto em caminho plano; nas congregações louvarei ao Senhor.

1 Of David. Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.

2 Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

3 For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.

4 I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter in communion.

5 I have hated the assemblage of evil–doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.

6 I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:

7 That I may publish with a loud voice my thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.

8 Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;

10 In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.
