1 O Senhor reina; tremam as nações. Ele está entronizado entre os querubins; comova-se a terra. 2 O Senhor é grande em Sião e mais elevado que todas as nações. 3 Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é santo.

4 E a força do Rei ama o juízo; tu firmas a equidade, fazes juízo e justiça em Jacó. 5 Exaltai ao Senhor, nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés, porque ele é santo.

6 Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel, entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e ele os ouvia. 7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardavam os seus testemunhos e os estatutos que lhes dera. 8 Tu os escutaste, Senhor, nosso Deus; tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, posto que vingador dos seus feitos.

9 Exaltai ao Senhor, nosso Deus, e adorai-o no seu santo monte, porque o Senhor, nosso Deus, é santo.

1 The Lord reigneth; people tremble: he sitteth enthroned over the cherubim; the earth is moved.

2 The Lord is great in Zion; and he is exalted above all the people.

3 They will give thanks to thy name, great, and terrible, and holy it is.

4 And to the power of the king who loveth justice and righteousness hast thou truly executed in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his footstool: he is holy.––

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel among those that call on his name; they called on the Lord, and he answered them.

7 In the pillar of cloud he used to speak unto them: they kept his testimonies, and the statutes which he had given unto them.

8 O Lord, our God, thou didst answer them: thou wast a forgiving God unto them, yet also an avenger for their wrong doings.

9 Exalt the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his holy mount; for holy is the Lord our God.
