1 Aplaudi com as mãos, todos os povos; cantai a Deus com voz de triunfo. 2 Porque o Senhor Altíssimo é tremendo e Rei grande sobre toda a terra. 3 Ele nos submeterá os povos e porá as nações debaixo dos nossos pés. 4 Escolherá para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, a quem amou. (Selá)

5 Deus subiu com júbilo, o Senhor subiu ao som da trombeta. 6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores. 7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; cantai louvores com inteligência. 8 Deus reina sobre as nações; Deus se assenta sobre o trono da sua santidade. 9 Os príncipes dos povos se congregam para serem o povo do Deus de Abraão; porque os escudos da terra são de Deus; ele está muito elevado!

1 To the chief musician, a psalm for the sons of Korach.(47:2) All ye people, clap your hands; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 (47:3) For the Lord is most high, fear–inspiring; he is a great king over all the earth.

3 (47:4) He will subdue people under us, and nations under our feet.

4 (47:5) He will choose for us our inheritance, the excellency of Jacob which he loveth. Selah.

5 (47:6) God ascendeth amid a triumphal shout, the Lord, amid the sound of the cornet.

6 (47:7) Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 (47:8) For God is King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

8 (47:9) God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 (47:10) The nobles of the people are gathered together, to be with the people of the God of Abraham; for unto God belong the shields of the earth: he is greatly exalted.
