1 [A Song, a Psalm of David.] My heart is fixed, O God: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms, even {with} my glory.2 Awake, lute and harp: I will wake the dawn.3 I will give thee thanks among the peoples, O Jehovah; of thee will I sing psalms among the nations:4 For thy loving-kindness is great above the heavens, and thy truth is unto the clouds.5 Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, and thy glory above all the earth.6 That thy beloved ones may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.7 God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;9 Moab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; over Philistia will I shout aloud.10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?11 {Wilt} not {thou}, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?12 Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.13 Through God we shall do valiantly; and he it is that will tread down our adversaries.

Mon cœur est disposé, ô Dieu! ma gloire l'est aussi, je chanterai et je psalmodierai.2 Réveille-toi, ma musette et ma harpe, je me réveillerai à l'aube du jour.3 Eternel, je te célébrerai parmi les peuples, et je te psalmodierai parmi les nations.4 Car ta bonté est grande par-dessus les cieux, et ta vérité atteint jusqu’aux nues.5 Ô Dieu! élève-toi sur les cieux, et que ta gloire soit sur toute la terre.6 Afin que ceux que tu aimes soient délivrés; sauve-moi par ta droite, et exauce-moi.7 Dieu a parlé en son Sanctuaire; je me réjouirai; je partagerai Sichem, et mesurerai la vallée de Succoth.8 Galaad sera à moi, Manassé [sera] à moi, et Ephraïm sera ma principale force, Juda mon Législateur.9 Moab sera le bassin où je me laverai, je jetterai mon soulier sur Edom, je triompherai de la Palestine.10 Qui sera-ce qui me conduira en la ville munie? qui sera-ce qui me conduira jusques en Edom?11 Ne sera-ce pas toi, ô Dieu! qui nous avais rejetés, et qui ne sortais plus, ô Dieu! avec nos armées?12 Donne-nous secours pour sortir de la détresse; car la délivrance [qu'on attend] de l'homme est vaine.13 Nous ferons des actions de valeur en Dieu, et il foulera nos ennemis.
