1 [A Psalm of David.] Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.3 {He that} slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;4 In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;5 {He that} putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these {things} shall never be moved.

Eternel, qui est-ce qui séjournera dans ton Tabernacle? qui est-ce qui habitera en la montagne de ta Sainteté?2 Ce sera celui qui marche dans l'intégrité, qui fait ce qui est juste, et qui profère la vérité telle qu'elle est dans son cœur;3 Qui ne médit point par sa langue, qui ne fait point de mal à son ami, qui ne diffame point son prochain;4 Aux yeux duquel est méprisable celui qui mérite d'être rejeté, mais il honore ceux qui craignent l'Eternel; s'il a juré, fût-ce à son dommage, il n'en changera rien;5 Qui ne donne point son argent à usure, et qui ne prend point de présent contre l'innocent; celui qui fait ces choses, ne sera jamais ébranlé.
