1 Shout for joy unto God, all the earth!

2 Make music to the honor of His name; make His praise glorious.

3 Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies cower before You.

4 All the earth shall bow down before You and sing unto You, and make music unto Your name. Selah.

5 Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.

6 He has turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there we rejoiced in Him.

7 He rules by His power forever; His eyes keep watch over the nations; let not the rebels lift themselves up and exalt. Selah.

8 O bless our God, you peoples, and make the voice of His praise to be heard;

9 who gives our souls life, and does not allow our feet to slip.

10 For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us, as silver is refined.

11 You have brought us into the net; You have laid affliction upon our loins.

12 You have allowed men to ride over our heads; we have gone through fire and through water, but You have brought us out into plenty.

13 I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will make good to You my vows,

14 which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken when I was in distress.

15 I will offer to You burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.

16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.

17 I cried out unto Him with my mouth, and He was lifted up in praise with my tongue.

18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.

19 Surely God has heard; He has given attention to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed is God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!

1 LOUVAI a Deus com brados de júbilo, todas as terras. 2 Cantai a glória do seu nome; dai glória ao seu louvor. 3 Dizei a Deus: Quão terrível és tu nas tuas obras! pela grandeza do teu poder se submeterão a ti os teus inimigos. 4 Toda a terra te adorará e te cantará louvores: eles cantarão o teu nome. (Selá.) 5 Vinde, e vede as obras de Deus; é terrível nos seus feitos para com os filhos dos homens. 6 Converteu o mar em terra seca; passaram o rio a pé; ali nos alegramos nele. 7 Ele domina eternamente pelo seu poder: os seus olhos estão sobre as nações; não se exaltem os rebeldes. (Selá.) 8 Bendizei, povos, ao nosso Deus, e fazei ouvir a voz do seu louvor: 9 Ao que sustenta com vida a nossa alma, e não consente que resvalem os nossos pés. 10 Pois tu, ó Deus, nos provaste; tu nos afinaste como se afina a prata. 11 Tu nos meteste na rede; afligiste os nossos lombos. 12 Fizeste com que os homens cavalgassem sobre as nossas cabeças; passamos pelo fogo e pela água; mas trouxeste-nos a um lugar de abundância. 13 Entrarei em tua casa com holocaustos; pagar-te-ei os meus votos, 14 Que haviam pronunciado os meus lábios, e dissera a minha boca, quando eu estava na angústia. 15 Oferecer-te-ei holocaustos de animais nédios, com odorante fumo de carneiros; oferecerei novilhos com cabritos. (Selá.) 16 Vinde, e ouvi, todos os que temeis a Deus, e eu contarei o que ele tem feito à minha alma. 17 A ele clamei com a minha boca, e ele foi exaltado pela minha língua. 18 Se eu atender à iniquidade no meu coração, o Senhor não me ouvirá; 19 Mas, na verdade, Deus me ouviu; atendeu à voz da minha oração. 20 Bendito seja Deus, que não rejeitou a minha oração, nem desviou de mim a sua misericórdia.
