1 Clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 For Jehovah Most High is awesome, a great King over all the earth.

3 He shall put to flight the peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

4 He will choose our inheritance for us, the majesty of Jacob whom He has loved. Selah.

5 God has gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a shofar.

6 Sing praises unto God, sing praises! Sing praises unto our King, sing praises!

7 For God is King of all the earth; sing praises with understanding.

8 God reigns over the nations, God sits upon the throne of His holiness.

9 The nobles of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted.

(Selá.) 5 Deus subiu com júbilo, o Senhor subiu ao som da trombeta. 6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores. 7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra, cantai louvores com inteligência. 8 Deus reina sobre as nações: Deus se assenta sobre o trono da sua santidade. 9 Os príncipes dos povos se congregam para serem o povo do Deus de Abraão; porque os escudos da terra são de Deus: ele está muito elevado!
