3 As suas obras maravilhosas são a expressão da sua glória, da sua majestade e da sua eterna justiça!4 Quem se poderá esquecer das maravilhas que ele realiza? Os seus actos são de misericórdia e de bondade!5 Alimenta os que confiam nele. Nunca se esquecerá da aliança que fez com os seus!6 Deus deu ao seu povo a prova do seu enorme poder, oferecendo-lhe uma terra que era propriedade de muitas nações.7 Tudo o que faz é justo e bom. Todas as suas leis são justas.8 A essência delas é a verdade e a rectidão, por isso valem para todo o sempre!9 Ele pagou um preço pela redenção do seu povo. E estabeleceu com eles um acordo de paz que nunca acabará. Santo e poderoso é o nome de Deus!10 O temor pelo Senhor é o fundamento de toda a sabedoria. Verdadeiramente sábios são só os que lhe obedecem. E nessa base ele há-de ser louvado eternamente!

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.3 His work is honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.5 He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.6 He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.9 He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
