2 São muitos, e espiam-me de forma a terem todo o tempo para me aniquilar.3 Mas quando estiver com medo, porei a minha confiança em ti.4 Confiarei nas promessas de Deus. E se assim for, que me poderão fazer?6 Juntam-se para bem estabelecerem os seus planos; escondem-se e espiam-me, aguardando a hora de me liquidarem.8 Tens visto toda a minha agitação. Recolheste as minhas lágrimas na tua taça. Registaste-as no teu livro.10 Louvo as palavras de Deus e as suas promessas.11 Confiarei nas promessas de Deus. E se assim for, que me poderão fazer?12 Certamente que farei o que te prometi, Senhor, e te darei louvores pelo teu socorro.13 Pois livraste a minha alma da morte, e os meus pés de escorregarem, para que possa andar na terra dos vivos diante de Deus.
