2 És como uma navalha afiada quando planeias acções malvadas.3 Amas o mal e não o bem, a mentira e não a verdade.4 A tua língua mentirosa deleita-se em caluniar, e em dizer tudo o que possa prejudicar os outros.6 E os que seguem a justiça de Deus verão isso acontecer, e terão medo.7 Mas depois, rindo até, dirão a respeito dele: Vêem o que acontece a quem despreza Deus e confia antes nas suas posses; e a quem se torna cada vez mais atrevido na sua maldade.9 Ó Senhor, eu te louvarei para sempre por isso que fizeste. Espero em ti, pois todos os crentes sabem que o teu nome é o de um Deus misericordioso.
