1 Levanto os meus olhos para ti, ó Deus, que habitas lá nos céus.2 Assim como se está atento às ordens de um superior, e como os criados atentam para as indicações dos seus patrões, assim também nós esperamos pelo menor sinal da tua parte, Senhor nosso Deus.4 Estamos na verdade saturados de tanta zombaria da parte dos que vivem na fartura, dos que se enchem de arrogância.
