1 Senhor, quem pode achar refúgio na tua casa,e ficar contigo no teu santo monte?2 Certamente aquele que anda em rectidão,que pratica a justiça e que fala verdade.3 Aquele que não calunia os outros,que respeita o próximoe não dá ouvidos à maledicência;4 aquele que sabe censurar quem pratica o pecado, mas que elogia os que seguem com fidelidade o Senhor; e também aquele que quando faz uma promessaa cumpre, ainda que fique prejudicado, nada o fará mudar de ideias;5 aquele que ajuda os pobressem esperar deles pesados serviços em recompensa e que recusa dar ouvidos a queixas contra o inocenteou servir de testemunha contra ele. Uma pessoa assim permanecerá firme para sempre.

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor.4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoreth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
