2 Essa vitória, que foi a salvação que trouxe ao seu povo, ele a tornou conhecida de toda a gente; a sua justiça se manifestou aos olhos de todas as nações.3 Lembrou-se da sua bondade e das suas promessas para com Israel. E assim todo o mundo, de uma a outra extremidade da Terra, viu a salvação de Deus.5 Cantem acompanhados de harpa e de coros.6 Que a vossa alegria possa expandir-se livremente diante do Senhor, diante do rei, tocando com força trombetas e cornetas!7 Que o mar, na sua imensa vastidão, faça ecoar o rugido profundo das suas vagas; que o mundo inteiro, com todos os seus habitantes, dêem glória a Deus.8 Que o barulho das águas dos rios correndo pelos campos seja como palmas de alegria festejando Deus; que as montanhas sejam também, elas próprias, uma festa ao Senhor, pois que ele vem julgar o mundo com toda a justiça!

1 A Psalm. O sing to the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shown in the sight of the heathen.3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth towards the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.5 Sing to the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.7 Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it, the world, and they that dwell therein.8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness will he judge the world, and the people with equity.
