2 \46:1\God is our harbour and our strength, a very present help in trouble.

3 \46:2\For this cause we will have no fear, even though the earth is changed, and though the mountains are moved in the heart of the sea;

4 \46:3\Though its waters are sounding and troubled, and though the mountains are shaking with their violent motion. (Selah.)

5 \46:4\There is a river whose streams make glad the resting-place of God, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.

6 \46:5\God has taken his place in her; she will not be moved: he will come to her help at the dawn of morning.

7 \46:6\The nations were angry, the kingdoms were moved; at the sound of his voice the earth became like wax.

8 \46:7\The Lord of armies is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah.)

9 \46:8\Come, see the works of the Lord, the destruction which he has made in the earth.

10 \46:9\He puts an end to wars over all the earth; by him the bow is broken, and the spear cut in two, and the carriage burned in the fire.

11 \46:10\Be at peace in the knowledge that I am God: I will be lifted up among the nations, I will be honoured through all the earth.

12 \46:11\The Lord of armies is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah.)

2 C'est pourquoi nous ne craindrons point, quand la terre serait bouleversée, quand les montagnes seraient ébranlées au sein de la mer;

3 Quand ses eaux mugiraient en bouillonnant, et que leur furie ferait trembler les montagnes. Sélah (pause).

4 Il y a un fleuve dont les ruisseaux réjouissent la cité de Dieu, le lieu saint des habitations du Très-Haut.

5 Dieu est au milieu d'elle; elle ne sera point ébranlée. Dieu lui donne secours dès le point du jour.

6 Les nations s'agitent, les royaumes s'ébranlent; il fait entendre sa voix, la terre se fond.

7 L'Éternel des armées est avec nous; le Dieu de Jacob est notre haute retraite. (Sélah.)

8 Venez, contemplez les exploits de l'Éternel, les ravages qu'il a faits sur la terre.

9 Il fait cesser les combats jusqu'au bout de la terre; il rompt les arcs et brise les lances; il brûle les chars au feu.

10 Cessez, dit-il, et reconnaissez que JE SUIS Dieu; je serai exalté parmi les nations, je serai exalté par toute la terre.

11 L'Éternel des armées est avec nous; le Dieu de Jacob est notre haute retraite. (Sélah.)
