1 Ó Deus, salva-me!

Ajuda-me agora, ó Senhor Deus.

2 Que sejam completamente

derrotados e humilhados

aqueles que me querem matar!

Que fujam, envergonhados,

aqueles que se alegram

com as minhas aflições!

3 Que caiam na desgraça

e fiquem cheios de confusão

aqueles que zombam de mim!

4 Que fiquem alegres e contentes

todos os que te adoram!

E que os que são gratos

pela tua ajuda digam sempre:

"Como Deus é grande!"

5 Eu sou pobre e necessitado;

vem depressa em meu auxílio,

ó Deus.

Tu és a minha ajuda

e o meu libertador;

não te demores em me socorrer,

ó Senhor Deus!

4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; And let such as love your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5 But I am poor and needy; Hurry to me, O God: You are my help and my deliverer; O Yahweh, make no tarrying.
