1 Ó Deus, salva-me, pelo teu nome,

e faze-me justiça, pelo teu poder.

2 Escuta, ó Deus, a minha oração,

dá ouvidos às palavras da minha boca.

3 Pois contra mim se levantam os insolentes,

e os violentos procuram tirar-me a vida;

não têm Deus diante de si.

4 Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador,

o Senhor é quem me sustenta a vida.

5 Ele retribuirá o mal aos meus opressores;

por tua fidelidade dá cabo deles.

6 Oferecer-te-ei voluntariamente sacrifícios;

louvarei o teu nome, ó Senhor, porque é bom.

7 Pois me livrou de todas as tribulações;

e os meus olhos se enchem com a ruína dos meus inimigos.

2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and the violent seek after my life: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.

5 He will requite evil to mine enemies: in thy truth cut them off.

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O Jehovah, because it is good.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath seen {its desire} upon mine enemies.
