1 Deus assiste na congregação divina;

no meio dos deuses, estabelece o seu julgamento.

2 Até quando julgareis injustamente

e tomareis partido pela causa dos ímpios?

3 Fazei justiça ao fraco e ao órfão,

procedei retamente para com o aflito e o desamparado.

4 Socorrei o fraco e o necessitado;

tirai-os das mãos dos ímpios.

5 Eles nada sabem, nem entendem;

vagueiam em trevas;

vacilam todos os fundamentos da terra.

6 Eu disse: sois deuses,

sois todos filhos do Altíssimo.

7 Todavia, como homens, morrereis

e, como qualquer dos príncipes, haveis de sucumbir.

8 Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra,

pois a ti compete a herança de todas as nações.

2 How long will ye judge unrighteously, and accept the person of the wicked? Selah.

3 Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute;

4 Rescue the poor and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are moved.

6 I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High;

7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for *thou* shalt inherit all the nations.

4 Livrai o fraco e o necessitado, Salvai-o da mão dos perversos.

5 Eles não sabem nem entendem; Andam vagueando às escuras: Estão abalados todos os fundamentos da terra.

6 Eu disse: Vós sois deuses; E todos vós, filhos do Altíssimo.

7 Todavia, como homens, haveis de morrer, E, como qualquer dos príncipes, haveis de sucumbir.
