1 Cantem uma nova canção a Deus, o Senhor,

pois ele tem feito coisas maravilhosas.

Com a sua força e com o seu santo poder,

ele se tornou vitorioso.

2 O Senhor anunciou a sua vitória;

ele fez com que as nações

conhecessem o seu poder salvador.

3 Com amor e fidelidade, ele cumpriu

a sua promessa ao povo de Israel.

Até nos lugares mais distantes do mundo

todos viram a vitória do nosso Deus.

4 Cantem ao Senhor com alegria,

povos de toda a terra!

Louvem o Senhor com canções

e gritos de alegria.

5 Cantem louvores a Deus, o Senhor,

com acompanhamento de harpas

e toquem música nas liras.

6 Ao som de trombetas e cornetas,

cantem com alegria

diante do Senhor, o Rei.

7 Ruja o mar e todas as criaturas

que nele vivem.

Cante a terra e os seus moradores.

8 Rios, batam palmas!

Montes, cantem com alegria

diante do Senhor

9 porque ele vem governar a terra!

Ele governará os povos do mundo

com justiça

e de acordo com o que é direito.

1 A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things; his right hand has gotten him the victory, even the arm of his holiness.

2 The LORD has made known his saving health; he has openly showed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles.

3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the saving health of our God.

4 Sing with joy unto the LORD, all the earth; lift up thy voice and rejoice and sing praises.

5 Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the voice of a song.

6 With trumpets and [the] sound of [the] shofar make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

7 Let the sea roar and the fullness thereof, the world and those that dwell therein.

8 Let the rivers clap [their] hands; let the mountains be joyful together

9 before the LORD; for he has come to judge the earth; with righteousness he shall judge the world and the peoples with equity.:
