1 Ó Deus, salva-me pelo teu poder!

Livra-me com a tua força.

2 Ouve, ó Deus, a minha oração!

Escuta as minhas palavras.

3 Pois homens orgulhosos estão chegando

para me atacar,

homens violentos querem me matar.

Eles não se importam com Deus.

4 Eu sei que é o Senhor Deus

quem me ajuda,

sei que é ele quem me defende.

5 Que Deus faça com que a maldade

dos meus inimigos

se vire contra eles mesmos!

Ele é fiel e por isso os destruirá.

6 Ó Senhor Deus, de boa vontade

eu te oferecerei sacrifícios

e te louvarei porque és bom.

7 Tu me livraste de todas

as minhas aflições,

e eu tenho visto a derrota

dos meus inimigos.

5 He shall reward evil unto my enemies; cut them off in thy truth.

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O LORD; for [it is] good.

7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen [his desire] upon my enemies.:
