1 Ó Senhor Deus, eu te agradeço

de todo o coração;

diante de todos os deuses eu canto

hinos de louvor a ti.

2 Por causa do teu amor

e da tua fidelidade,

eu me ajoelho

virado para o teu santo Templo

e dou graças a ti.

Pois tens mostrado que o teu nome

e as tuas promessas

estão acima de tudo.

3 Quando te chamei, tu me respondeste

e, com o teu poder, aumentaste

as minhas forças.

4 Ó Senhor Deus, todos os reis da terra

te louvarão

quando ouvirem falar das tuas promessas.

5 Eles cantarão a respeito das coisas

que tu, ó Senhor, tens feito,

pois grande é a tua glória.

6 Tu estás lá nas alturas,

mas assim mesmo te interessas

pelos humildes,

e os orgulhosos não podem se esconder

de ti.

7 Quando estou cercado de perigos,

tu me dás segurança.

A tua força me protege

do ódio dos meus inimigos;

tu me salvas pelo teu poder.

8 Tu cumprirás tudo o que me prometeste.

O teu amor dura para sempre,

ó Senhor Deus.

Não abandones o trabalho

que começaste.

1 [A Psalm] of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods I will sing praises unto thee.

2 I will worship the temple of thy holiness and praise thy name above thy mercy and thy truth; for thou hast made thy name [to be] magnificent [and raised up] thy [spoken] word above all things.

3 In the day when I called, thou didst answer me [and] strengthen me [with] strength in my soul.

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hearken unto the [spoken] words from thy mouth.

5 [Yea], they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great [is] the glory of the LORD.

6 For the LORD, [who is] high [and lifted up], looks upon the humble, but the proud he does not know.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 The LORD will perfect [that which] concerns me; thy mercy, O LORD, [endures] for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.:
