de forsar fram mellan bergen.

11 De vattnar markens alla djur,

vildåsnor släcker sin törst.

12 Vid dem har himlens fåglar

sina bon,

bland grenarna hörs deras sång.

13 Du vattnar bergen från dina salar,

jorden mättas av det du skapar.

Så låter du bröd

komma från jorden,

18 Stenbockarna har fått

de höga bergen,

klyftorna är klippgrävlingars

tillflykt.

19 *1 Mos 1:14. Månen har du gjort

för att visa tider,

solen vet när den ska gå ner.

20 Du sänder mörker

och det blir natt,

då kommer skogens alla djur

i rörelse.

21 *Job 39:1. Unga lejon ryter efter rov

och begär sin föda av Gud.

22 Solen går upp,

då drar de sig undan

och lägger sig ner i sina hålor.

23 Då går människan ut till sin gärning

och arbetar tills kvällen kommer.

24 *Ps 40:6, 92:6, 111:2f. Hur mångfaldiga

är inte dina verk, Herre!

Med vishet har du gjort dem alla,

jorden är full av vad du har

skapat.

både stora och små.

de dör och blir åter till stoft.

bestå för evigt!

Må Herren glädja sig

över sina verk.
